Grad School
In 2015, I decided to return back to school. I enrolled in Wilkes University's Instructional Media program, in Education, seeking my Master's degree; next month I will be graduating. During my two years at Wilkes, I have learned how to utilize many digital tools to both my personal and professional benefit. I would like to share some of the projects I've created, and my experiences using certain Web 2.0 tools during my graduate journey.
My Digital Media course: This was one of my earlier courses where we were challenged to create projects using a new tool every week! Below I featured my Media Infused Presentation using Prezi, and my Video Blog on The Five Minds and Education using the incredible Powtoon; I remember we read Howard Gardner's Five Minds for the Future throughout the entire course, and used his concepts and ideals on how to succeed in the evolving world to devise some of our projects.

Impact Learning Environment course: This course focused on how using certain Web 2.0 tools could greatly impact the learning environment for all students, even if their school faces issues in the area of technological support or lack of knowledge on the best tools available. We used our Adobe Sparks Page to track our projects, and it was a very simple and easy to use. I even used Adobe Spark to create two incredible videos! (Check them out on my page below)
Because this course was a journey in itself, I would like to share my entire Adobe Sparks Page on this course that included my use of: Ipadio, Thinglink, Sparksvideo, Google Photos and Google Drawings.

Internet Tools for Teaching course: My Cognition and Technology was a tough class; all the scientific jargon took me back to undergrad. However this course, along with my Digital Storytelling course, were the only courses in my program that really challenged me. I hate failing or doing subpar work, and being able to reflect in my Internet Tools for Teaching course each week was quite liberating. This course gave me the confidence to use tools I overlooked or considered too much of a challenge to handle. The two projects that gave me the most trouble include my digital video on becoming an educator using WeVideo, and my broadcast on Livestream, on The Benefits of Online Learning.
